SLEEVES WAS ALL MY JOY: THE INNER SLEEVE GAME PROJECT
Inner sleeves are the paper envelopes used to protect a record inside the main cardboard sleeve. These sleeves are sometimes used by record companies to advertise the albums of other artists on their label. Usually, the albums are arranged on a grid, each row featuring small images of the records being promoting. Find a promotional inner sleeve and design a game that requires players to match the records in their collection to the album covers featured on the inner sleeve. Use the sleeve to design your game pieces, such as a game board or cards. After you’ve finished designing your game, play it and document the results. Share your game pieces with others so they can play along.
